Following Up With Someone For Internship

Hey guys,

I'm a high school senior who is currently applying to colleges, and looking for an internship for next summer.

Coincidentally, I met this person in an Uber who is the CEO of a tech company, and as we talked more, he told me that he could get me an internship, and that we should meet for coffee, etc. He gave me his Linkedin, and I connected with him yesterday evening. I have some questions - when should I message him? Furthermore, how should I message him? Someone told me I should tell him more about my accomplishments (coded Android app with 100k+ installs, taken Linear Algebra and Multivariable Calculus, etc); is this the way to go? What else would I tell him in the message, besides presumably asking him to grab a coffee?

Thank you!
