For the diehard Office fans out there, I'm sure you're preparing for the bitter end like me. Its no secret that seasons 8 and 9 weren't anything close to the heyday of the show, but I feel like Season 9 has been a tremendous improvement over Season 8, which was a pretty huge disaster in my opinion.
Anyway, the series finale is currently slated to be an hour, but the producer has said they have a ton of great extra footage (like they do for every episode) and that he'd love to be able to do all of it. The runner of an Office fan site called Office Tally started a petition to try to get the finale supersized to an hour and a half or two hours. So far its got about 7,000 signatures. Sorry if this seems spammy, but I'm just a diehard Office fan who wants to see the show go out on a big note. I don't know if there is any hope of this petition doing anything, but I guess it doesn't hurt to try.

I don't agree with the story lines (they build up to Erin and Andy the whole last season and a half, and then split them up?), but I'm finding it to be pretty funny overall. Season 8, not only did the story lines suck, it also just wasn't funny. Obviously they are both a far cry from Seasons 2-7, but I'm finding Season 9 enjoyable.
I have Seasons 1-7 on DVD/Blu Ray, but I have yet to purchase Season 8 even though it's been out for several months. I really should complete the collection, but I find it so hard to spend $40 on something I will likely never watch again, unlike seasons 1-7 which I rewatch regularly.
I'm pretty much done with it, they should have stopped at season 7. Now it's just kind of boring watching what random shit they can throw in there.
