FP&A Possibilities after undergrad
Hey all, I am a rising junior at a target school 3.7 GPA hoping to get into FP&A after undergrad. I am currently doing a double major in Finance and MIS, however, I've been thinking about doing Finance/Accounting rather than Finance/MIS due to the nature of FP&A. Can any one with prior experience confirm if Finance/Accounting will be a better fit? Thanks.
I think if you are already at a Target with a finance degree and 3.7 then you should be fine. FP&A isn't too difficult to land especially in the tech realm. Make sure to get good work experience by interning.
Depends on the company you're interviewing with. We have no one in FP&A at our F500 with less than 7 years of experience in finance in some facet.
