BNP Paribas?
HSBC?
Are you sure all the banks in the list sponsor?
No, this is just a list that I compiled from other lists or older posts in wso in which these banks were reported to still sponsor. Want to get update and insight from people so i posted it here.
You could probably take half of these off the lists, and most are you need to be the best candidate, not just good enough. JPM stopped sponsoring this year, also Barclays doesnt sponsor.
JPM stopped sponsoring? They were like the most supportive. They definitely sponsored the last cycle.
JPM didn't sponsor 2018-19
Barclays IBD/MS IBD/RBC/Stifel/Jefferies/BNP/HSBC didn’t sponsor for SA 2019
RBC & MS both took international students (regional offices though) last cycle
Was talking about NYC
i can confirm RBC, Stifel, Jefferies, and Barclays doesn't.
Jefferies does sponsor. Confirmed
MS IBD NY took international students from my school for SA2020
JPM doesn't sponsor. Had a college colleague get through to the superday only for HR to find out she was international and rescind the offer.
Curious though on banks such as Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, HSBC, RBC, etc.. who are primarily known for being more international rather than U.S. heavy. Maybe just a thought but wouldn't they be a little more lenient with their Visa?
That’s weird.. I have multiple international friends who signed with JPM NY last cycle and they were sponsored. Maybe the rules are different for targets/non-targets?
That is really weird. I know she had her offer rescinded but maybe it is different relative to other schools. I know I attend a non-target and she does as well, so maybe you're right regarding the non-target/target complex.
Do you have any idea about the other banks in my post? Curious if more international banks (DB, CS, HSBC, etc.) are international friendly or if they are just as hard on internationals as U.S. banks.
RBC sponsors.
Stop with the BS, JPM does sponsor. Colleague probably didn't get an offer and is lying to you.
Thanks for trying to accuse my colleague of lying but we had class together, and she showed me the case study they wanted her to do and then the rejection email a few days later since she was international and they didn't sponsor.
Pretty sure CS and Barclays didn't sponsor for SA 2019. Think RBC did.
PJT sponsors.
I heard this might be changing for the NYC location. A friend who works there said they will sponsor the interns from last summer but going forward they will not. Should they have issues at the border they will be sent over to London. At least for the analyst level.
.
Hsbc does not sponsor

1 SB to you for the complete reference list
I can confirm Barclays NYC IBD didn't sponsor last cycle, however Barclays NYC S&T did
UBS doesnt sponsor. Seems like the bank was omitted in the list.
Are you sure about this? I know a friend who got into the IBD division from target school last year.
William Blair still sponsors but more likely if top candidate.
Does anyone know how competitive JPM IBD is for non-target top 20 school if they do sponsor or if there is quota?
can confirm blair sponsors (know from people SA'ing there and who worked FT)
False, their HR said no.
Does anyone know the situation in Houston? Much appreciated
Is this just for IBD? What about S&T and quant?
Stifel does not sponsor at my target for 2020 SA.
Jefferies offered almost no sponsorship starting from this year according to a senior people I knew. Lazard also does not take intl students from this year on, based on what my alum said.
Second this. When Jefferies did OCR an MD told me they don't plan to recruit any international people right now.
At a target, I asked HR if they sponsor international students and she said yes.
My friend working in Citi office in New York and SF said they don't sponsor at all starting this year.
Is it for ib/trading?
Citi sponsors for BCMA NYC but they have a quota so it's tough.
DB definitely sponsors
Do PWP and Rothschild sponsor?
PWP NY definitely sponsors, I'm international and went through their process
good shout ty

According to HL's head of HR:
If you can secure an SA role at HL, they will sponsor you if you get a return offer If you run FT recruiting for HL, please look elsewhere and good luck.
Bump - currently recruiting for summer analyst internship position. Does anyone know if the elite boutiques Evercore, Lazard and PWP sponsor or have a quota? Would really appreciate the input.
If you're good enough then don't worry about the quota
lovin the name xD
Lazard would sponsor.
Mizuho sponsors
Any info on CVP?
im fairly sure they sponsor, have friend who went SA there from another school that's intl
