Full time while studying? [London]

Last year I did a SA at an EB and now doing M&A off-cycle at a major bank outside of London. I am a student at semi-target (will graduate 2021 among top 2-5% with latin honors probably).

What are the policies regarding students in London? Can students work as analysts? Let's say I am done with my courses and have only master thesis left for the 2021.

Look, I could ask my team and even try to move internally but I really intend to stay there if there is a spot (better-off than in London, better hours and incredible team). I do not want to bother them with such questions now. I really like the team and do not want them to mistakenly think I am thinking about leaving. COViD-19 deal-flow impact could have changed their minds, and I am no longer so sure about my position.

Thanks.

You must have misunderstood me. I want to be a full-time analyst while still being a student. I'd have to recruit for 2021 SA or off-cycles while I'd probably have the capacity to start FT in September/October. Nobody's gonna take a new intern in e.g. December unless there's something I don't know?

Have you seen that happen: a FT analyst who is yet to finish his or her degree?
