Future of Securities Lending Sales and Trading at I-Banks
Does anybody have any insight on the future of Securities Lending Sales and Trading at major Investment Banks? Any information on compensation vs. traditional trading desks would be appreciated as well.

It's not a desk where you generate ideas but it's still a profit generating desk. You're essentially making money on the VIG and it's client relationship business. With each transaction, there are collateral posted, so you have no market risk exposure.
