Geometry in finance
Hi,
I am starting my masters in finance in september, but my bachelors degree havent sufficiently provided me with enough mathematical knowledge, and I am therefore studying math on my own atm.
I probably won't have all the time that i wanted and thereof my question:
Is geometry knowledge necessary in finance?
(When i say finance, i refer to the courses I am getting in my masters):
Corporate finance, asset pricing, econometrics, derivatives and securities markets, portfolio management, road to CFA level 1.
Hope you guys can help me!
You should be fully capable of using the four main mathematics functions.
Also, negative numbers vs. positive numbers.
That is it.
Yeah, no geometry whatsoever unless you plan on doing a MBA later, then you'll need it for the GMAT ;)
