Getting a Job at Rosewood?

I've heard it's hard (impossible?) to get a job there if you don't fit a certain mold. How true is this? I've spoken to a couple of people there and have a call later today to discuss a potential oppertunity. The last time I applied for an analyst role but it was a bit pre-mature since I had some time before I graduated, still got a call though, and was told to reach back out once I was in my final semester. I did and now I have this call set up.

Do you think they'll just tell me to politely fuck off?

Nah in all seriousness, I think they'll like your perseverance, that is, if you havent been a cunt. Don't worry, the worse they can say is no, get back to us later. Remember to prepare questions and read news that can be related to Rosewood, but I am sure you know that already.

Rosewood is a decent boutique group but not sure where the prestige is coming from on this group? They do a lot of sales each year but they're not on the level of the best of the best in NY.

Much much larger institutional teams and top mom and pops brokerage teams out there in NY lol.

100% - Any boutique is going to have rainmakers if that is where the allure is coming from, but those guys would kill it anywhere.

Rosewood the Hong Kong-based Hotel developer and owner (over ~26 international hotels; www.rosewoodhotelgroup.com/en-us/; with sister/parent companies, New World Development/Chow Tai Fook group, possibly an all-in +$20BN AUM entity) or the NYC IS Brokerage (very small group by headcount - essentially a team, had $3.2bn sales in 2015), listed above in an old Real Deal IS roster?
