Global Jobs

Hey All,

I wanted to hear your inputs on PE sectors/any type of investment platform that is more of a global business? What I mean by that is these professionals are more globally focused and there is potential for travel around the world, not just to one specific area.

Things that come to mind (and I might be completely wrong here) are the industrials groups of PE firms. Industrial companies aren't concentrated in one area (like TMT is concentrated in SF, Boston, other cities in the USA). Also, Aviation Finance is something that stuck out to me as the same aircraft can be placed into many different airlines across the world. Plus you're literally dealing with aircraft that travel around the world.

I'm currently an Analyst and looking to switch over to the buy-side but am not completely sold on just recruiting for the typical PE shops. I love traveling and want to establish relationships and learn more about the business environment outside of the United States. I am hoping to look for shops that operate on a more global scale; disregarding size.

Apologies if this is a noob question. But would love to gain more insight as it would help me focus my buy-side recruiting.

Renewable energy PE/PF also.

Real estate (depending on the asset class).

For RE I was thinking more along firms that have teams focused on different geographic areas, but I was also thinking something like industrial/warehouses since those are more tied to the global economy/commodities. Blackstone is especially huge in this.
