GMAT for MBA Recruiting

Hey all, I know this has been discussed several times over but I was hoping I could get some feedback on my own personal situation.
I'll be attending McCombs (full time) this fall and plan on recruiting for Oil & Gas banking in Houston. I'm contemplating how I should focus my time in the next few months and have been debating between retaking the GMAT and diving into a self-study modeling program like WallStreetPrep.
I'm coming in with a 680, which took me a few attempts to get, but am also a CFA charterholder if that counts for anything.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks all!
