Going into PE straight out of undergrad?
Hi all, I'm a sophomore who'll be interning at a mid-tier BB for SA 2020 IBD. I was wondering if it's normal for graduating undergrads to recruit straight into private equity (KKR, Apollo) after college, with one summer of banking under their belt. If so, any tips?
Is this trend common at all? Or is it still the 2 years banking, followed by buy-side recruiting?
Many thanks!
