Graduated in '12.. interested in IB

Hello all,

I graduated in 2012 with a degree in Biochemistry. My GPA was 3.7. I have very limited experience to IB but I am interested in an internship. I read a couple of the books posted on the IB bullpen FAQ page and am even more intrigued about working in this field. Does anybody have any suggestions with how to progress? Thank you.

Since I graduated I worked in the Health IT sector. Coincidentally I worked very closely with an ex-IB guy who was burned out and out of it. I talked to him about trying to connect me with people but he said that everybody he knows is out of it also. Thus I am looking for an internship. Please let me know what else you need, I am really eager for any lead

have you cold called/reach out to alumni - that might help

also, look at boutiques/MM in non-city regions if you are fine with that - less structured than BBs, might be less reluctant

you mentioned that you worked in HC IT sector - you could target HC boutiques...could spin your story and all to get in.
