GS NR/Industrials Type Group vs. Evercore Generalist M&A

Hey guys, I have offers at both firms for a 2019 SA stint. I'm thinking mostly about culture and MF placement, particularly in reference to the 2 listed groups at GS. I'm split on this decision and would really appreciate any help/insight!

Whichever team you felt you connected more with. Seriously that is the answer, you would be splitting hairs to say one places better in PE, will give you a better experience, etc.

I'd probably lean towards Evercore since I like the EB model better (and full disclosure work at one) and the GS SA return offer rate can sometimes be a lot lower. If it is not already clear from this forum, no return offer is a kiss of death even if you were at a place like GS

Not getting a return offer isn't a kiss of death. Have plenty of friends who didn't get return offers go from BB to BB, and even MM to BB. Only pointing this out because I don't want anyone who doesn't get a return giving up hope.
