GS -> YouTube -> top hedge fund

Impressive or nah?

Remember Jess Greenberg? The former Goldman Sachs summer analyst with a lucrative sideline working her assets on her YouTube channel with 1.2m (mostly male) subscribers? She hasn’t eschewed finance for YouTube after all: she’s just turned up at Winton Capital Management.

According to Greenberg’s public profile, she joined Winton as an analyst in October 2016. Winton insiders say she’s working with the head of Middle East Business Development and Investor Solutions.

Winton Capital is one of the UK’s most successful systemic macro hedge funds. Historically, it preferred to hire data scientists with PhDs “including extragalactic astrophysicists, computer scientists and climatologists,” but the company now runs an analyst programme and hires graduates.

Greenberg is amply equipped for a career at a quantitative fund. As well as being a talented at playing the guitar in a low cut vest, she has a degree in statistics, economics and finance from University College London and A Levels in maths, further maths, economics and French, all at grade A or A*.

Winton Capital Management ranks 12th on our list of the highest paying hedge funds in the UK, with the average employee earning $365k (£300k). As an analyst Greenberg is more likely to earn around £50k.

This might be why she appears to be continuing with her YouTube career. Greenberg posted the following video on October 1st, done in her signature style (bedroom setting, cleavage showing, maximally sultry.). It’s already had 590,000 views. She also posted various images of herself dressed as a sexy devil to her public Facebook Page on Halloween; these have had tens of thousands of ‘reactions’.

Here she is in what is supposedly here signature pose.

And here is her most viewed video, a cover of AC/DC's Highway to hell.

Lol and she has 1.2 million subs. I wouldn't be surprised if she was pulling 80-120k from youtube alone. Click bait game strong.

My thoughts exactly. Curious to see if she can keep her channel running in the same manner.

I don't see what part of that would be hard.

All she has to do is pull down that T just a lil' bit A lil bit of this, a lil bit of that Get it crackin' in the club when you hear this shit Drop it like its hot, get to workin' that back Can you make it go round and round

ok ill stop.

Nah probably not because she doesn't post that much in all honesty. If I had to guess she probably gets 80-120k but can make a ton more if she gets a sponsorship. One of my favorite youtubers has over 3 million subs, posts 5 videos a week and has said he makes 190k but in a VERY cheap COL area.

Just saw the picture: her jaw/ mouth area is awful

That appears to have escaped her subscribers attention.

Just have one thing to say after reading this post: Impossible is Nothing
