As an intern I've been on the buyside of a couple of deals they've shopped.
What was your general impression of the firm? Were the analysts, senior associates, or senior vp's smart guys, impressive, etc.?

Honestly, I haven't had any interaction with the people there, I've just gone over prospectuses prepared by them and can't say much more without getting too specific. It doesn't seem that they have any industry-focus; they just target small to middle market local companies as far as I know.
