Have you guys done something this dumb?

Here's the story:

Using Linkedin to contact random people using email and I have been copy/pasting the body of the emails in each email. These are not people who went to my school, so I did quite a bit of them!

Anyways, I realize that I used the name of one bank in an email to a different one (only happened once) and decided to not send a follow up and just hope he didn't notice and send it to HR to have my name blacklisted (semi joking).

I get an email back from the guy, 2 seconds later, that is just blank (but includes what I sent him).

OUCH I think he wanted to send me a message there....

Any awkward stories from you guys?

Incorrect. landed a lot of interviews through Linkedin to the OP you should hope that your competition is as narrow minded as this guy lol.

Incorrect. I advised my unemployed GF to do this. She landed a coffee meeting with a partner, which turned into a fulltime offer a week later. She starts work next week.
