Hey everyone, I just recently interviewed at a super day for a smaller group within GS IMD. It's been about three weeks or so, and I haven't heard anything back. From my understanding, both offered and rejected candidates hear back back within a day or two. The left over, are put on a waiting list of sorts to see if first choice candidates accept or not. Can anyone confirm if this is the case? This is my only real lead for an internship so far at a BB, and I really hope I get an offer, but in the meantime I can only sit back and wait, which is really frustrating. Thanks for any advice in advance, I appreciate it.

If you haven't heard back within a week, usually its over. If the first candidate doesn't accept the offer, then they go down the list until someone accepts it and usually they are given 1 week to accept the offer. I don't want to sound negative, but you probs didn't get the interview. I had 2 Superdays at a BB bank and I got ghosted and never heard back. Don't let it get on your head and move forward, I know that feeling.
Appreciate the honesty. Sorry to hear you got ghosted twice, shits messed up.

Out of curiosity is that strictly for IB or is this for all divisions ?
