Haven't heard back yet?

Current sophomore at semi-target. Interviewed on-campus with an F20 company for a summer finance intern position. It's been two weeks since the interview and I haven't heard back. I'm expecting that I didn't make the next round/internship, but I'm not sure what steps to take to make sure. I emailed and thanked my interviewer the same day of the interview and he replied the next day telling me that internship candidates should hear back shortly. The day after that my online submission status changed to "completed" on feb 7th.

Does anyone know when candidates here back after interviews about the next step in the process?

Should I email my interviewer again or should I wait it out?

Follow-up. Chances aren't looking great, but you never know

No! Go apply to other companies. It took me over a month to hear back and get my internship. Another thing that could be happening is they are interviewing more candidates, in that case you didn't impress them enough to go with you.

I do know a handful of students from my school and neighboring schools were interviewing for the positions at the F20 company. I thought the interview went well, but it felt a bit odd. Questions were all behavioral (which I expected) but the entire interview was mostly the senior leader from the company talking to me about corporate life, the position itself, etc. It seemed more like an informational interview than an actual one. I wasn't sure what to make of it at the time, but I'm not sure if things are looking good at the moment. I emailed the interviewer, hopefully he gets back soon. I would have loved the opportunity.

Was that the only interview? Most companies have an interview on campus and then a second interview later on, after the first batch is whittled down.
