HELP - I am in news; will be bad for job???
hi guys, hope you can help! as you know if you are of Boston that it snowed really heavy yesterday. anyways, i work for a big company in boston but not in investment banking so not very competitive (but does in financial service). anyways, i tried to go from my house to my university but my garage door is freezed from all the snow of yesterday (like the door is freezed to the ground). i hit the ice with a shovel for like 20 minutes but it didnt help and the door is still stuck. so i use a little bit of petrol from my snowblower and put at the base of the door (where the ice is) and light a fire to melt the ice. but anyways, the door catched fire and i had to call fire department to put it out and i was in the news for this. will my job fire me because i was in news?????
Same thing happened to me once back when I worked at the carwash in high school, except someone was in the car, and i accidentally lit it on fire with a joint, not gasoline. Damn wheel polish!
HAHA!!!!! first off... you are an id!ot for thinking gasoline on your door wouldnt catch fire... two, no it wont get you fired, just laughed at for the next year at work... rightfully so of course because you almost burnt your house down...
You probably won't get fired for it, but you could get fired for using the word "freezed."
Blumie you are Fing hystarical. I am in the greater boston region now and we must grab a drink. LOL
Wait are you also a commodities trader?
BLUMIE If i cant find this on the news im gonna be pissed what part of Boston was this in. Were you interviewed? you must have atleast been interviewed.
Blumie, I looked for this and couldn't find it, could you tell me what search terms I should be using?
And I don't think you'll be fired, I don't even know if it'd be legal to fire you for this (albeit that your employment is most likely at will). You'll probably just get razzed about it for the next 20 years
I did my due dilligence through boston.com. Im assuming you went to one of the local boston institutions for schooling (MIT, HARVARD, BU, BC, or NEU)....chances are your an MIT student due to your lack of common sense, anyways where was this?
Let us analyze the syntax of the following word combinations used by Blumie:
little bit of petrol - most probably European and by the method he tried to free himself, I'd say Eastern European...
door catched fire - just bad english... I'm surprised they let you have email at this Job...
"Door catched fire." hahahahah. Amazing.
Yes, they can and will fire you.
I hope your z4 is still working so you can pick up that girl!!! OH NOOOSSSSSSSSS

definetly Eastern European... a guy who thinks he's entitled to beautiful women because of his car... a guy who burns his house down with odd methods of freeing a frozen door...
i think in one of his prior post he mentioned he was asian
So, he's Phresh Off The Boat?
wanted to bump this back up on everyone's radar for humor purposes...
blumie is a WSO classic IMO...
This is monumental. I can't stop laughing at this.
