Help with choosing undergrad for future career in IB/Consulting!
What's up guys?
So the thing is I am doing A-levels now and this September I am applying to universities. I want to go to university after which I will have a fair shot at IB/Consulting. And here I need your help fellow bankers! My top two choices are LSE and UCL but I want to have a plan and confidence in the future in the case I won't get in.
Here are universities that I am thinking of applying to right now and it would be amazing if you could share some insight about how represented these unis are in the City and on Wall Street. And how reasonable is to apply there considering my IB/Consulting ambitions.
1.) St Andrews - Philosophy and Economics, 4 years MA
2.) Bristol - Philosophy and Economics, 3 years BA
3.) Bocconi - International Economics, Managment, Finance , 3 years BA
4.) ESSEC - BBA 4 years
5.) Sciences Po - European-American campus, something like liberal arts program, will major in economics.
Can you rank these 5 choices in terms of career prospects/recognition in London and NY in financial circles? And information on how good these schools/programs in general are highly appreciated!
Cheers~!
St. Andrew, because he is a good apostle.
