HF in depth equity strategy
Hi guys, I am a 14 year old student who eventually wants to break into the HF industry and for the past few years I have been learning a lot about the investing world. I want to start investing soon but I do not know what strategy I should use. So I just want to know the strategies used in large MM L/S equity pods. I am hoping that someone can explain to me the ins and outs of a very common investing strategy used in those places so that I can start modeling after it and getting good at it. I also wanted to know whether any long term investing decisions are made in firms such as point72, millennium, citadel, etc. Or are they in an out of most of their positions within a year. Lastly, what else should I do now in order to become a great hedge fund equity analyst one day in the future (specific answers please). I would greatly appreciate any feedback.
