HFF Office Investment Advisory D.C.

Does anyone know how the HFF Office team performs in D.C.? I just applied for an analyst role with them, but am not too familiar with their deal flow, and reputation in D.C. since I currently live elsewhere.

Also, what could be potential implications of the JLL merger on reputation? Will it become some sort of mega-shop or could there be some potential downsizing risk?

Overall team is really good. Play 3rd fiddle to ES and Cushman but still get a lot of deals done especially on debt side. JLL kills leasing in DC, they don't really have a great IS presence so doubt it will affect the HFF group all that much.

Appreciate the response. From what I have read online it seems that they made a killing in 2017 with 1800 M Street, Bridges at Irvine, and 2 other deals worth over $200m. Does their office investment sales group also work on debt stuff, or is this a separate?
