House of Lies fans?

Anybody watch this here? Just started, as I had never even heard of it before seeing a trailer for the new season.

Really liking it so far. Just started season 2. It's a bit cheesy sometimes, sure...but the dialogue is entertaining, and the camera work at certain times is great. It's like Entourage but about consulting, so it really works for me.

Two words: Kristen. Bell. Pretty much the only reason why I watched beyond season 1.

Currently: future neurologist, current psychotherapist Previously: investor relations (top consulting firm), M&A consulting (Big 4), M&A banking (MM)

Agreed. Her level of hotness is totally underrated.

Doug is one of the best parts of the show, while Marty's kid is annoying as fuck.

She's one of the few actors that made me question my sexuality, so I can concur. She has the best smirk ever.

Season 3 jumps the shark? Not something I want to hear...I get sick of all good show concepts going off the rails when the creative muscle decides to get too smart/too edgy/too whatever and just turns it into a joke.

I tend to stick with shows no matter what, if they're any good at all. Except for Weeds, couldn't finish that train wreck if you paid me.

I think Don Cheadle is playing this role really well, and Ben Schwartz is funny as hell to me, although I realize that not everyone might agree. Doug can be annoying.

It's easy to watch, episodes are short, and I'm really not watching anything else at all right now, so I feel like it's a pretty minimal time-suck at the moment. Just watched the Matt Damon episode, thought it was pretty good.

I find it pretty entertaining. I've just finished season 2. Overall it has its funny moments. Never really understood the purpose of Marty's kid in terms of the show

Edginess. For the LGBT factor. And to emphasize that Marty fucks up his personal relationships all the time.

About finished with 2, got a couple left. I can already see where things could go south, but going to plow through since it's pretty easy to keep up with (28-29 minutes a piece, why not).

They nailed Monica's character, that's for sure.

Thought it was fun in the beginning, mostly because I never seen a show about consultants before, but I got tired of the cheesy jargon after a while.. but would like to see more finance-related shows in that sense but with a little higher caliber :-)

In season 3 now. Gotta say, really don't find Kristen Bell all that hot...she's attractive to be sure, but not really my type. Monica on the other hand....

Roscoe does get a bit annoying, the whole "family drama" angle is tiresome. I mean, mostly because it feels forced as fuck. Some of it feels natural (really just Don Cheadle's ability to act) but lots of it seems straight out of a sitcom. And I hate that.

Gotta say, apart from Marty, Clyde is my favorite character. He wears on you a bit at times but you get the feeling that this is on purpose. Might be due to great acting. I think he's a great actor, love everything I've seen him in. Funny as shit, but also clearly has the ability to pull a straight face once in a while. His personality just makes it.

3 isn't too bad so far, but they really went out on a limb with this plot line, that's for sure.
