How do banks verify SAT scores?

A close friend of mine is also applying to 2021 SA and he told me that he may fabricate the SAT score on his resume to help him pass the screen. Apparently it's lower than he'd hope but we go to a top target so it can't be that bad.

I keep trying to convince him that this is a terrible idea but he's still is on the fence about doing this. Any tips for handling this situation? Would banks find out and his chances be ruined?

ok so your “friend” should definitely not do that. banks don’t really care about SATs, PE firms to moreso. there are plenty of threads on this exact thing that have popped up within the last 2 weeks. just search for them to get all the content your heart (or your friend rather) desires... if you go to a top target don’t fucking fuck your shot up by something as stupid as fudging your SAT score. you can’t have had below a 1450 anyways.

banks literally do not care about SAT scores but some still verify in BG check, this is such a high risk low reward thing to do lmao
