How do I stop cringing/feeling ashamed of embarrassing things I have done in past?

So, there are certain things I have done in my life that haunt the hell out of me. Nothing extraordinary but they really make me feel embarrassed even today. It has gotten to a point that whenever I try to study the material for exams the first thing that comes to my mind are the cringeworthy things I have done in past.(Like arguing with really stupid points in a group and getting caught staring at a girl by a group of people). This has really affected my productivity as well as performance in school and I can't seem to get rid of this habit.

Hit up the gym. Hard. The brain chemicals released from physical activity will alleviate these feelings.

I must agree and probably you are a total stupid/creep. But you know what? So am I, and big chances the other guy who’s reading this topic is also. Everyone does stupid shit sometimes like you just told. There’s nothing wrong with you, and even if there is, get over it.

I'm often washing dishes or reading a book and something morally or socially reprehensible I've done in the past will spring to mind. I compulsively hum a quiet, random melody then shove it back down. These memories are important to remember. Learning from your mistakes and all that... you can lie to everyone but yourself

Do you happen to take ritalin, adderall, or anything of that sort, op?

Yeah, it sounds anxiety related.
