how long does it take to hear back from GE FMP after a 1st round interview?
after submitting my resume for a FT GE FMP position last Thursday, I received a phone call the next day for an interview, and interviewed over the phone on Saturday. just wondering if anyone who's been through the process has any experience on how long it takes to hear whether i'll be invited back for a second round at one of the GE companies, and through what medium. will i be getting a phone call or an email, or does it differ if it's good vs. bad news?
thanks everyone
bump
depends. could be one week...could be 2. try to be patient.
was that in your own experience or just a wild guess?
personal experience and received offer
awesome thanks so much. how did they inform you? via email or phone?
also, this is for GE Capital and GE Corporate (they haven't contacted me about which business specifically yet)
was this an online app or ocr?
online app. i had a phone interview last saturday
was it for GE Capital's FMP?
np englandco, always willing to help a fellow wso mate.
i was informed via email for the next rounds.
What kind of questions did they ask you in the phone screen?
What type of interview questions were you asked? Technical/Behavioral/Fit?
all fit and behavioral. the individual GE business has yet to get back to me but the HR recruiter and a contact at GE have both told me that i'm moving on to the second round
I was informed via email about 4 days after the phone interview. The email said that I would be contacted within the next week about the logistics for the second round interview. The initial phone interview was very informal, about 35 minutes in length and consisted of about 6 behavioral questions. Then the interviewer explained the program and allowed me time to ask any questions.
Are they still interviewing?
Anyone hear from GE FMP/RMP? (Originally Posted: 10/28/2010)
Has anyone heard back after any of their interviews for this program? If so how long did it take for them to get back to you after the interview?
