How much do minors matter?
I'll be a freshman at UMich Ross, and I might be interested in consulting, fintech, and maybe investment banking. I'll be getting a BBA as my primary degree but am also considering minoring or double majoring in Computer Science or Data Science. Do recruiters pay much attention to what your minor is for the aforementioned fields, or do they only care about what your major is? How valuable is a double major compared to a minor and is it worth the extra time/effort? And just generally, do you think a BBA from Michigan Ross is sufficient to land jobs in finance/consulting and which minor/double major combo would you suggest (if at all)?
