How Often Do You Ask For A Raise?
Well title says it all. How often do you ask for a raise? Every 6 months, 12 months, 18 months, etc.? And when you do ask for a raise, how do you go about it?

Career Resources
Honestly, I think this is super individualistic to each firm. Most larger/corporate firms generally have some organized/managed performance review process (where a raise or salary discussion is rationale) and/or a cost of living increase process. These usually are at least annual, but "promotions" or special raises/bonus could come whenever (or also follow the annual schedule). At smaller, private type firms.... who knows.
Every Year
Inflationary raise (ie 2-10%) - Should be every year, if not, ASK.
Merit-based raise (10%+ ) - Every 2 years. Comes with more responsibilities and title, if you feel you did a good job.
