I have a final interview next week and I could really use some guidance on a presentation they've asked me to prepare.

Hi everybody,

As I said in the title, I have a final interview for a position with BT next week and I'm feeling a little lost on what to do. The position isn't exactly consulting, per se, but it is pretty similar in a lot of ways so I am hoping you guys night be able to help me. They have instructed us to prepare a 10 minute presentation and have given us the following info on how to prepare:

Please create a 10 minute presentation on the following subject to deliver at the assessment centre:

—As a prospective graduate in BT, we’re looking for people who are tuned into the market and can bring people with them on the journey that BT faces.

—As such, we would like you to prepare a ten-minute presentation that covers your understanding of industry trends and your aspirations for BT.

—You need to engage and excite people about your vision for the future of BT and what you can contribute to this journey.

Your presentation should address issues for BT Group as a whole rather than focusing on any one particular business area. You should assume that the audience for your presentation is the cohort of peers who you begin the BT graduate scheme with.

In making your presentation, please reference the commercial implications/opportunities, customers and how your ideas impact our communities.

This all just seems so vague to me and I'm not really sure what they're looking for. Can anybody give me some advice on where to start, or how to attack this?

Thanks!
