I have no perspective in life beyond gruelling hours and money. Help.

I realized how unhappy I am.

Yes, I make a lot of money compared to people my age. Yes, I work 70-80 hour weeks on average.

I thought this life was going to make me happy. I can afford anything I want anytime, and get lots of women.

But I just end up wanting more and more material stuff and becoming even richer, and many women who are interested in me seem interested not because I’m a person they like, but because I have a wallet they like. My ex dumped me because I got annoyed when she said that "if you’re gonna work this much, please show that you do it at least a little of it for me by spending some of it on me every week"

Deep inside, I want a 9-5 at some company, or even better, some public authority or charity/NGO. But it’s the loss of prestige, all that buzz, and most importantly, the money, that makes me not give notice tomorrow.
