If you could ask HR anything...

So I have a contact at HR, she said she would be happy to answer any questions that I may have. Aside from asking about the timeline and how you can get involved with the recruiting process, what else would you ask her?

how does it feel like when you have to tell a kid his offer out of college is more than you're making after working for a decade?

Nothing at all.

"A man can convince anyone he's somebody else, but never himself."

Ask her if you can provide anything else to help the process along or something. The HR interview is to just a screener, be able to speak well to your resume and roles. Usually, they don't know what "blah concept of finance" is or means.

Probably why they write in job ads that they seek intellectual curiosity, diverse background and value opposite opinions when they hire asskissers and actively censor any diverging opinion.

Then again, I know the answer already.

Never discuss with idiots, first they drag you at their level, then they beat you with experience.

If you ask them, they'll reply that they need to find the best fit for the team and similar bullshit excuses, meaning that what they wrote in the job ad was a formality. The truth is, big corps absolutely hate independent thinking.

They go out of their way to boast different corporate cultures and values, when at the end of the day, they are all the same.

So what is the real answer? HR is flooded with people who did not have the talent to go in any other department especially women who use their job as a dating app.

Never discuss with idiots, first they drag you at their level, then they beat you with experience.
