inroads to ibanking from graduate school

I have been on WSO for some time now but never needed to post. I am trying to find out how many of you found your positions in ibanking. Through internships/recruiting etc.

currently i am a grad student doing an MBA/MSF at a middle of the run business school. I did my undergrad in poly sci (thinking i wanted to go to law), and decided that law school was not the direction i wanted to go. I worked in financial planning for two years and decided to go back and make the transition to ibanking if possible.

just looking to learn from some of your strategies, thanks!
