Institutional Sales Internship
Hey guys. After a lot of hard work I have been fortunate enough to receive an offer with an AM in Institutional Sales team for the summer. I am weighing this offer with an MM S&T offer from a very reputable shop. I am interested in Sales as an initial career path and was wondering if I could get some color about how Sales works at a buy-side shop.
I know I can't go wrong with either offer but how does sell-side sales stack up against buy-side sales in terms of compensation, exit opportunities, lifestyle, and the overall responsibilities of the job.
Also, if I end up having to go through FT recruitment after the internship what do you think would look best on the resume?
