Interview Question Guidance

During a placement day, regarding a question such as "Why M&A", which of these three ways would you go, or would you give a combination of these three in a short , sweet pitch.

1) Large picture view. Interested in the strategic, dynamic, entrepreneurial nature of business
2) Financial view, Interested in how such companies/organizations are valued
3) Speak more to Why M&A specifically at that bank (Take from previous conversations with VP/Ass regarding types of deals/ deal teams)

Thanks!

I personally think you're stressing out way too much over a question that really doesn't matter all that much, but I'm still a student so take anything I say with a grain of salt.

That being said, I'd say a combination of the first two. From my experience, if you're asked the first question, you're generally asked the second question, "why xxx bank."
