Investment analysis help!
Its time to make some desperate help attempts in here. I wouldn't had started it here if it weren't so urgent. I have to produce an investment analysis/thesis(max 3 pages) of any firm as a part of the interview process at a boutique. Now it ought to have a good content to land me the next round which is the presentation round . I am currently at a big 4 where I sit in their valuations department, so no prior experience. Any pointers here would be helpful, what to focus on and what not to shit?
The Boutique's clients are HF, financial advisory firms.

I'm confused. Wouldn't this help you value/analyze a company?
Yes. Definitely. I am done valuing the company. I have no experience in writing good reports( connecting everything), I don't want to lose up my chances just because of that.
i have a blog (www.thenonconsensus.com) where i write about stocks from an equity research/buy side perspective. might want to start there for some ideas and to get familiar with what people are talking about. i try to write them so that they are easy to understand for most people, so I don't get too too heavy on the jargon. be wary of seekingalpha (even though I publish my stuff there sometimes). most of their analysis would get you laughed out of interviews
