Desperately need a new phone. Thinking of getting the Iphone 12. Does anyone have it? Thoughts? Is it worth the price?

I just jumped from being a long time Google fanboy. I like it so far. Not sure it's worth the jump if you're using an 11 or Pixel 4 though. Lowlight pictures in particular though are absolutely amazing with this phone.
I currently have Iphone 7 that I have been using for ages. My friend recommended that if I want to get a new one, might as well get the latest since I like using the same phone for years lmaooo. Thank you for this :)
U too? I remember I had the s7 for years lol
Do you have the 12 pro or pro max? Can’t decide which size to get.
No 120hz screen = no buy
Would it not severely cut down battery life if the screen has to refresh twice as much (assuming current screens are 60fps)? It's nice to be smooth but what content can you even consume on a phone that makes 120hz worth it? That's nearly professional gaming monitor level fps.
Other flagship phones (Samsung, etc.) have them and they're fine. This is typical Apple
Agree. Once you go 120hz, you can never go back... TBH I really want to switch from Samsung to iPhone this year, but I just really can't stand the 60hz refresh rate. It makes a huge difference.
Just upgraded from a 7 to a 12. I'm not a heavy phone user or picture taker but the screen quality, photo quality and most importantly battery life are absolutely night and day. I really don't notice any difference between LTE and 5G but I also don't do any heavy streaming. YMMV.
There's is hardly anything in the Android space to match it currently unless you want to go for One Plus/Samsung. Samsung has a lot of bloatware while One Plus though good I dont trust it from a privacy stand point which for me is important.
Got the phone yesterday and so far I'm loving it. Though I feel the battery drains a bit fast compared to Android phones I had before.
switched from 8 plus to the 12 pro it's a nice phone ngl
I have you all beat with the age of phones. I still have the 6! ! It still works but it would be nice to get a faster phone. How much faster is the 12 compared to what I have? I do not care about pictures.
I still have my 6 too. 100% going to upgrade to the 12 at year end.
Same boat. Debating between the 12 mini and the SE.
6 gang sounding off! Seriously thinking about upgrading to 12 mini b/c of the size; bigger size cumbersome to anyone?
I have a SE(Iphone 6). I am considering getting the new SE. I hate big phones. Even the 12 mini is huge.
Had to edit, just read the 12 mini is smaller than the SE. Now I'm leaning toward the mini

I notice a difference between my X and the 12 - I just got the 12 yesterday. Outside of that - it's indistinguishable outside of the dual cameras and it's a bit lighter I think.
I'm a pretty big apple fan boy - but even I can't believe how little the differences are at this point between models.
I don't think you need to upgrade every year or two. I have the Xs and although I want the 12, will hold off, because I'm sure most of the features won't be enough to warrant upgrading alone. Just planning to wait until my current phone is old enough to start underperforming before I upgrade.
Just bought the 12 Pro. Big fan, but honestly I don’t think it’s worth it if you have a functioning phone from the last ~3 generations
If you’re switching from an older phone, why not go with 11 pro Max? Pretty sure it’s comparable in price to the 12
I have the 11 pro. great phone. I upgrade phones every 2 years
Probably keeping my 8 Plus for another year
