I currently have Iphone 7 that I have been using for ages. My friend recommended that if I want to get a new one, might as well get the latest since I like using the same phone for years lmaooo. Thank you for this :)

Would it not severely cut down battery life if the screen has to refresh twice as much (assuming current screens are 60fps)? It's nice to be smooth but what content can you even consume on a phone that makes 120hz worth it? That's nearly professional gaming monitor level fps.

Be excellent to each other, and party on, dudes.

There's is hardly anything in the Android space to match it currently unless you want to go for One Plus/Samsung. Samsung has a lot of bloatware while One Plus though good I dont trust it from a privacy stand point which for me is important.

Got the phone yesterday and so far I'm loving it. Though I feel the battery drains a bit fast compared to Android phones I had before.

I have you all beat with the age of phones.   I still have the 6!  !   It still works but it would be nice to get a faster phone.  How much faster is the 12 compared to what I have?  I do not care about pictures.

I notice a difference between my X and the 12 - I just got the 12 yesterday. Outside of that - it's indistinguishable outside of the dual cameras and it's a bit lighter I think.

I'm a pretty big apple fan boy - but even I can't believe how little the differences are at this point between models.

I don't think you need to upgrade every year or two. I have the Xs and although I want the 12, will hold off, because I'm sure most of the features won't be enough to warrant upgrading alone. Just planning to wait until my current phone is old enough to start underperforming before I upgrade.
