As an engineering major trying to learn as much as I can about finance, I find the site extremely helpful and I also like the simulator. But I find those videos useless. They're far too short and simplified. On top of that the music and sound effects are really annoying.
I don't think the Investopedia video is trying to show a very basic example of WC for those who do not have a financial background. The efinancialmodeling.com website is overanalyzing a simple concept, im not sure why the author is asking if "investopedia even understands the capital markets" then goes on to "what if" a lot of other potential factors.
Seems like a dumb marketing ploy to attract investopedia users to his website. I thought that as an undergrad learning finance, Investopedia did a great job describing some basic concepts that I was trying to learn.

I always liked Investopedia, and I admit that I use that site every now and then. But these guys just destroyed one of their new videos
