Commercial Loan Assistant, the equivalent of a credit analyst non RE. This particular place serves the hospitality industry a sizeable amount.
My first take is that "assistant" is a lot better for the concerns you bring up than "director" ... you will be fine, have a good attitude and an eagerness to learn and they will overlook any deficiency you have. Just study up a lot in the mean time, employers would much prefer a humble person who is working to catch up than a prideful jerk who thinks the extent of their understanding has no bounds.
