Language requirements for front office position in Frankfurt.

Hey guys,
I am a Dutch national who is currently studying in the Netherlands and who hopes to move into a M&A analyst role in Germany. Looking around the job applications it became clear that firms expect a proficient or fluent level of German for many positions. I have lived in Germany before an currently have a German level of B2 (Following CEF).
Do any of you have experience working in Germany as an expat and if so, could you shed some further light on the required level?
