Lateraled to a toxic sweatshop

Title says it all. Just need to vent a bit.

Place has the whole shit: very toxic culture, extreme level of face time, need to be available 24/7, eat lunch and dinner at your desk, always respond immediately to emails even for stuff that is due in 1 month, work in the office every day, no flexibility at all, Fridays in the office until after midnight even if nothing to do, averaging 100+ hours per week doing monkey work (I am literally replicating slides that are drawn on paper the whole day and never saw a client in 2 months), changing decks until 1 second before the meeting even after working on them for weeks, weekends working on non-urgent origination or internal presentations.

At my previous job I would build marketing decks on my own, talk to clients all the time, have responsibility on deals (modelling on my own, coordinating advisors, basically anything that did not require MD input like introducing principals or the likes) , no people micromanaging me but constructive help / discussions when there was something new to me. Only downside I was paid a 20% less all-in comp.

Minimum amount of time I should stay before I get the fuck out in a way that does not kill my CV?

U need to expose the firm and group, since you’re annoy anyways.

Click their profile, easy to figure it out.

@OP I would modify the previous post bc of paper trail.

I would not expose the name of the bank. Will be easy to identify OP with name of the bank. Only so many groups that are as bad as this that also have recent laterals. The culture sounds just like the group I worked in, but there are unfortunately many groups on the street with such trash culture. However, only one group this bad at my bank.
