lev fin analyst bonus

hey!

so im trying to budget for next year in the city, and i was just wondering how bonuses in lev fin and an i-bank for a first year analyst typically compare to that of someone in say corp fin? salary, sign on, and other random benefits were on par with other groups, so im hoping year end is too. gotta make sure im not living beyond my means next year. also, i got a nice size "moving bonus" which they said can only be used on moving expenses and i must show receipts and everything.. do you think this can be used on buying furniture or whatnot, or only for moving it from my home to ny? (i live far away and have no desire to ship my furniture up there, so probably just want to get all new crap)

while we're on the topic of lev fin, anyone have some insight into exit ops? the main reason i took this is because i want to eventually get into PE, so im hoping this will be a good set-up for me. we'll see!

thanks in advance for the help

Exit ops into PE ok, but depends on the shop. Credit focused HF also option.

Bonuses tend to be on par with corp fin but this depends on how good the lev fin group at your bank is. This year has been a bumper year for leveraged debt capital markets so bonuses should be good; we'll see in future.
