LSE Finance VS Columbia Financial Engineering
Hello,
Here some background. I've been admitted into these two programs, my goal is to work in IBD (ideally M&A) and I would like to end up in US soon or later. I am a European engineering grad with some internship experience (equity research and now IBD in a BB bank). Below pros and cons of the two options.
LSE. Pros: More business focused program (I don't want to be a quant)
Great name
Cons: Not in the US
Columbia. Pros: In the US
Great name
There are a few corporate finance related electives (the pro is not that
they are few, but that at least they exist :) )
Cons: More quant (may be difficult to justify why a I pursued MFE if I want to
work in M&A)
Could you help me in making up my mind?
Thanks
