LSE MSc Philosophy of the Social Sciences vs King's College London MA Political Economy
Hello,
I will graduate the University College London in this summer (BA archaeology) and expected result is 2:1.
Before I get a job in finance industry I would like to go graduate school
and I'm currently holding offers from
LSE - MSc Philosophy of the Social Sciences
UCL - MA philosophy
King's College London - MA Political Economy / MA Philosophy
From these offers,
I am seriously considering LSE and KCL for political economy
which uni is better for IB/consulting careers?
due to i haven't studied quantitive courses like econ or finance at undergraduate level, imo, political economy course at King's seems to be a good option but the name value of LSE is attractvie as well.
please help me!
LinkedIn is a good tool.
How is hiring in the City, in the current context anyway?
Are you seriously asking which is better between LSE, UCL and KCL for IB ?
LSE >> *****, sad truth, in the IB environment in London, not assessing these 3 on syllabus, just on the doors the name will open to you here.
Yeah, fundamentally it comes down to the fact LSE has a far superior careers service to UCL/KCL (both of which are respectable Unis). That being said, UCL places fairly well so don't rule it out completely.
