Major choices? MBA vs. MS Finance?

Hi,

I'm currently an Econ major at USC. I have several options that my advisor has provided for me.

  1. Econ and Business Double Major (Graduate in 4 years)
  2. Econ Major, Business Minor (Graduate in 3 years)
  3. Business Major, Econ Minor (Graduate in 4 years)

I'm not sure which major is more valuable for the future. I'm looking at Investment Banking and Private Banking for the future.

I also have another question. USC has the option for a progressive degree. Basically means in addition to my undergrad, without taking the GRE, I can apply into a masters program that will take an additional year. I'd consider an MS in Finance. However, my question is, is this worth it or should I first graduate with my undergrad degree, get work experience, and then apply for an MBA?

Thanks in advance!
