MBA...BU vs BC??

Hello everyone! I was recently accepted to the full time MBA program at BU and BC. I have worked in a middle office position for two years and I am now trying to make the leap to IB as an associate. I'm having a tough time deciding between these two programs!

I have reached out to prior students from BC and I've spoken to a few that have landed summer associate internships with UBS and Santander. They were also offered full-time positions after their internships. I tried to get in touch with a few students from BU who also landed similar positions. However, I am still waiting on the career center to put me in touch with them.

Unfortunately the deadline for my decision is rapidly approaching and I'll have to make a decision between these two programs. On one hand BC has a strong finance network and I have already spoken with students who have achieved exactly what is that I am trying to do. On the other hand BU has offered me a $25k scholarship (per year) while BC didn't offer me anything since I applied fairly late in the process.

Would I really be better off at one program vs the other? Or should I just take the scholarship and run with it? I know neither of these schools are technically target schools but regardless of that students have still been landing IB positions. Any input or advice from you guys would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!

P.S. I am also awaiting a response from Georgetown for their PMBA program. I recently conducted the interview so I am now waiting on them.

Op, you may want to consider working for a few more years to give yourself a better chance of recruiting into IB. BC / BU don't send many kids to the street (for MBAs), and you are still young, so you will be competing against more polished, experienced, and older candidates from the school you select for a few slots. The MO position also isn't as glamorous as the experiences some of the other candidates may have as well. I'd recommend waiting a 2-3 years, getting a couple promotions, taking a leadership role in an extracurricular, and reapplying to top 20 schools (+Gtown, IU Kelley), where your chances will be much higher.

Also PMBA are not great platforms for transitioning.
