I think the requirements for SA say that you have to be returning student the next semester, so I'm not sure you would be eligible if you're a junior since the offer would be for next summer after you've finished your senior year. Might have to directly apply to FT, I'd look more into that.

In any case, I go to McGill and have seen some McGill people in the UK when I was searching up people to network with. Is there a specific reason you want London over NYC or Toronto?

Thank you for the reply. Because I'm still unfamiliar with the terms, I actually messed up; I'm a sophomore at McGill.

I don't have a specific interest in London over Toronto except for the class size of their SA. Just trying to throw my net as wide as I can.

On another note, can I PM you? I'd love to speak with you, as a McGill student, about IB recruiting

Close to 0. Perhaps 0 for BB/EB. IB recruiting is pretty structured/rigid. You would be expected to apply to your domestic region and then lateral. Less so to do with McIGill’s rep in the UK than it is the fact that it’s just not a target for london.

This is just a lie. I went to a US target and had no problems getting BB / EB interviews in London. London IB is very open to top international schools

Unless you were at HYP, you were an edge case and it would be retarded to give OP advice based on that.

Hey, current sophomore at Desautels as well. Would love to chat about IB if you have the chance.

McGill and Canadians schools in general are well respected in the U.K. See a lot of Canadians at Large Cap PE firms too.

BB in London here.. My group knows McGill very well and respects it - was interviewing a guy from there just last month
