Most Helpful

Read the application carefully. If they explicitly say “applications will only be considered for one (or two is common as well) positions”, do not apply to more. Most basic directions you will ever get. If you can’t follow those you won’t be successful in any job. That being said, if there is no stated limit, apply to all you want. I applied to multiple positions at a couple of banks and got interviews. Be sure you submit position specific cover letters if doing so (eg, don’t send a cover letter to IB saying “Equity Research is my passion”- proofread and be sure you submit multiple cover letters to the career site and choose carefully for each application).

Hope this helps! If you are really nervous about submitting multiple apps, HR or an analyst from your school will probably be able to tell you what’s ok.
