Neuberger Berman Private Equity Group - Thoughts?
Neuberger Berman (formerly spun off from Lehman) seems like a very solid Asset Management firm.
Currently looking into its private equity group which does fund investing, secondaries, but also co-investing and mezzanine debt investing. Anyone have thoughts on exit opps after? Would it be very tough to lateral to direct buyout firms after? This is assuming 2 years of IBD experience prior to NB.
Is it better to stay in IBD and try hard for pure MM PE directly? Or would this be a solid gig too?
Appreciate any insights
Interested on this topic as well. Tough life decisions!!
I don't really think of that as the kind of job with 'exit opps'. It's a fairly cushy lifestyle with pretty good money...you either want that or you don't.
