non-consulting internship at m/b/b
hi all,
i've been offered a non-consulting internship at mckinsey -- in the external relations department. i'm pretty sure this internship doesn't have a full time offer in the end, but i will have significant opportunities to network with consultants and other employees at mck. also, my day-to-day responsibilities will include meetings/conference calls with consultants. what do you think of this opportunity for someone who would like to break through into consulting?

I think it depends on who you are at this pt. What yr are u? Were you selected to interview for SA positions, if you're a junior? Of course, your position can very well get you interviews. Hopefully you can leverage your experiences in getting an offer.
