Only 2.5k fr the whole summer? Guessing a ton of roommates? On the hook for 6k for the summer atm hoping the situation clears up.

I'm renting a room in a 4-bedroom apt. The room is big with two beds and a bathroom, and I'm splitting with a good friend who is also working in IB. I'm pretty broke and my firm offers a 2.5k (pre-tax) housing and relocation bonus, so I was trying to stay around that amount to save. Also, I just didn't prioritize having lots of space- my hours will be bad and I only need a place to sleep and a gym in the building so I can run if I have time in the morning.

I am sorta wondering if they will pay out the bonus if we have to WFH. I never seriously thought that "natural disasters or acts of God" would be an issue when I signed my lease.
